STATE OF THE POLO DRIVERS ADDRESS: BY MANNY YACK

Johannesburg- Gear up, get ready for summer and gather all the polo drivers while at it because Manny Yack has a public service announcement. He has decided to bear the brant and represent the nation by addressing the pandemic that is Polo drivers, in his new single titled Ama Polo.

The Ambitiouz Entertainment artist tells a story of a couple that stays together, but the lady becomes unfaithful and gets snatched away from him by a polo driver, which he had mistaken for an uber driver- emotional damage for life! The Afro-pop song is upbeat, and perfect for any place or occasion, especially the “stance is life” events normally hosted by the VW gang (hopefully it does not offend them). 

“The song is just me putting into words what happens in the hood during festive season. Anybody who is from the hood knows this very well. Polo drivers are notorious for for causing havoc, it’s just that no one has made a song about it, so I decided to do it,” said the artist, real name Zakrim Phiri.

This track follows Sis Rambo and Bhut’ Cinderella which he released back-to-back in August. One can say that the songwriter, singer, and rapper is in a big mood to clear up the streets, because even in the previous songs he addresses issues and big egos. 

Ama Polo is released alongside a music video that shows exactly what Manny Yack is singing about in this latest single. We can see a lady being picked up by a polo driver, and they party all night while he is devastated at home waiting for her to come back, little does he know that he is being cheated on.
