Johannesburg- What's a Friyay without people tapping feet and going all crazy over

a new song release from Ambitiouz Entertainment? Yes, definitely unthinkable!

The most sought after record label welcomes Karabo "Kay" Maepa (25) and 23-year-

old Nkosinathi Zungu aka DeeTheGeneral as well as their record label, Unified

Entertainment to the A-team. This is a business venture that will take the South

African music industry by storm.

Kay and DeeTheGeneral released their first ever track under the label titled

Kumanxebanxeba; an Afro-pop love song with a twist. There's love declaration, but

there's also complaints, heartbreak, and apologies.

The backstory is that a girl loved a guy wholeheartedly and forgot to leave a space

for disappointment, she got hurt and did not trust him anymore. The bad guy on the

other side is trying to apologise and get back into good books.

The song is an old-school sound given a new-age feel- perfect for the young and old,

as well as any occasion. This is a sound that has, for the past seven years, set

Ambitiouz Entertainment apart from the masses, and that will not change anytime

soon.

Kay expresses that she is thrilled about being part of the A-team.

"I feel honored and Grateful to be a part of the Ambitiouz Family, and to release this

track with them. This means that a lot of good things are underway, and my musical

journey has begun," says Kay.

About Kay:

Kay real name Karabo Maepa a 25 year old Afro soul artist. Born in Tembisa and

later moved to Daveyton. She started singing when she was 13-years-old. Being part

of a local community centre and a Gospel choir helped in nurturing her singing talent.

She was signed by Unified Entertainment in 2019, recorded and released a few

singles, and the rest, as they say is history. In 2022 she became part of the most

sought after record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment when Unified and Ambitiouz took

a decision to share work efforts and became partners in music.
